We have replaced the old wood decks with new ones made from composite material -- made from recycled pop bottles. The composite is really nice on bare feet.

Here is a picture of the main entrance to our COMPLETELY SMOKE FREE MOTEL.

We have just opened a new fish cleaning shack that is almost too nice! Stainless steel sinks, large countertops, plug-ins for electric knives, bags for your catch, and free freezer space too.

ICE FISHERMAN: The fish cleaning shack is lighted and can be heated for easy cleaning.    --- Also, this is the only indoor 'smoking' place.

Winter 2006 I was always a hook /lure and minnow guy. But lately we see more and more of our most successful angler guests using Rapalas, winter and summer. As JR puts it, "They work so well on West Battle Lake that they should be illegal." I am going to be trying them myself more often. VexLar or "flasher" syle fish locators are about the only way to zone in on suspended fish. Your success will go up by 100% with one of these.
Ski our area. Try Spidahls for cross country, and Andes for downhill. I've been out on my trails on the property and the snow is perfect.
